It is with great pleasure and excitement to announce L.I.B. International's exciting journey and commitment to development of humanity in India. On December 4th 2009 L.I.B. International will be traveling to India on a research and development trip.
The core objectives for this trip are:
- Meet and collaborate with Indian non-government organizations in the Mumbai, Agra, Delhi and Leh regions to identify major plights and common issues regarding the poverty in India.
- Find a product from an independent artisans or community group and import under fair trade principles to Canada.
- Define specific projects that would contribute to the social development of India.
